Residential Care
Our approach to residential care is to improve the quality of life for our residents by creating a homely, safe and loving environment.
When your loved one is ready to move in we will talk to them, and to you, to get an idea of their preferences, likes and dislikes. Following on from this we will create a plan to deliver the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
We can provide assistance for bathing, dressing and/or eating if required.
We are confident that your loved one will have the best care, in a safe and loving environment, that is now their home.
Dementia Care
Our home is a comfortable and secure environment that is stimulating and rewarding. This preserves and enhances our residents’ life skills.
People with dementia often feel vulnerable and need reassurance. We look at the individual, their unique qualities and abilities to offer care that is very much tailored to them.
We value each resident as an individual and work to help build their self-confidence and communication skills. We encourage residents to maintain relationships with their family and friends outside the home, as well as offering carefully planned activities that they can take part in.
Day Care
We take exactly the same steps to assess each daycare resident as we do for our long-term residents. Following on from our discussions with you, a person centred care plan would be put in place and reviewed regularly to accommodate any change in needs.
Respite Care
Short-term stays can be daunting for both the residents and their loved ones. We recognise this and make every effort to make respite care residents feel welcome, settled in and valued as quickly as possible.
The respite care your loved one will receive is exactly the same as our long term residents receive.

We are very proud of our team at Danesbrook House.
They do their job with love and dedication and show compassion to all of our residents, and to each other.
The team undergoes extensive training to comply with any new regulatory requirements.
Friends & Family
Our doors are always open for visits.
We see our resident’s friends and families as an extension to our team.
You are always welcome to join us and participate in our residents daily life. This includes tea, lunch, dinner and activities.
Covid-19 has temporarly stopped some visitations, we remain committed to restarting this as soon as we can.
